The Humacao District Fire Station is a regional dispatch hub in Puerto Rico. The station coordinates and manages the emergency response of 8 different stations in the district. Located on the eastern coast of the island it often lies directly in the path of hurricanes that make landfall.

When Hurricane Maria struck the island in September 2017, Humacao was one of the hardest-hit communities. We spent almost a year here without power, without electricity. It’s not easy to live through something like that and remember that in the blink of an eye, it can happen again.” Lt. Poupart.

We designed and installed to cover all of the station’s loads and ensure that they are never left in the dark again.
